Welcome to Fridley Middle School

Fridley Middle School is an International Baccalaureate World School that offers the Middle Years Programme (MYP) to students in grades 5-8. There are many outstanding reasons to attend Fridley Middle School - we have committed and compassionate teachers, a diverse student learning environment that prepares students for a global workplace, and a strong focus on challenging all students to new learning.

In addition, our grade-level team structures are strategically designed to build community. Students also benefit from multiple opportunities to get involved, including a multitude of activities and athletics and community service activities.

Fridley Key Club members recognized for contributions and achievements

Several members of the Fridley Key Club recently spent a weekend of fun and service in Fargo, North Dakota at Key Club's Minnesota-Dakotas District event. At this event, our students helped pack 22,000 meals for the Great Plains food pantry and the Fargo Moorhead emergency food shelf, made over 100 toys for a humane society shelter in the Twin Cities, and wrote dozens of letters for Operation Gratitude to be included in care packages sent to first responders, veterans, and active military service members to remind them that someone out there cares about them.

Students enrolled in Fridley High School’s Emergency Medical Responder and Emergency Medical Technician courses learned first hand about EMS equipment and procedures from an Allina Paramedic on March 12. Students learned about the meticulous organization of equipment inside the ambulance that allows paramedics to easily access what they need to help patients with any emergency. A tour of the exterior of the ambulance was also given.
